"Retina Regeneration" is a scientific visualization project. The animation depicts one aspect of the research done in the Goldman Lab at the Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience Institute at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, which focuses on mechanisms of repair following damage to the retina. The lab uses transgenic zebrafish as a model system to identify mechanisms underlying successful central nervous system regeneration. |
